Just want to get some comments going on clubs/bars here in Anderson. What do you like or not like about them?

 

TJ WHISPERS

Like -

 

1. Lots of people at once

 

2. Decent prices, latest music, good pool tables, friendly staff,

 

3. That they have bouncers

 

Dislike -

 

1. Cover charge (although I guess that covers paying the bouncers)

 

2. The fact that they pat down males and females walk thru with huge purses

 

3. Seems they let in an under 21 crowd not a good mix when you have to have bouncers at a place I mean we ALL know the underage crowd just drinks in the bathroom, that's ike common knowledge!

 

4. No website, minimal myspace presence, no facebook

 

 

DAZZLERS

Like -

 

1. NO cover charge, free membership

 

2. BEST pool tables in Anderson

 

3. Good drink prices, friendly staff, pool room seperate from all the noise

 

Dislike -

 

1. Their private parties that seem to happen more often here lately where you just can't get in since it's rented out

 

2. Seems their karaoke nights is the same 5 people over and over not very big I guess with the karaoke crowd

 

3. No food

 

4. No website, minimal myspace presence, no facebook.

 

 

CHIEFS

Like -

1.No cover most nights

 

2. Their DJ's are good Marc and Jeremy are THE BEST!

 

3. Their bartenders are nice

 

4. Always doing new things up there.

 

5. Their food is decent and priced affordably

 

Dislike -

 

1. Their RUDE SHOT GIRLS guess what not EVERYBODY gets loaded when they go out and I am USUALLY nice about telling them no thanks and if they PERSIST I am still nice and saying that I am the DD for the night BUT they should take the hint and quit pestering me

 

2. It appears that there are some drunk people there sometimes that should be either CUT OFF or even better ASKED TO LEAVE no one wants to frequent a place where your every move hinges on whether the drunk smurf bothering everyone will take something the wrong way,

 

3. Their pool tables are by far the WORST in Anderson.

 

4. Their provided pool sticks MOSTLY do not even have tips on them! So EVERYONE asks can they borrow MY STICK!! HELL NO bring your own, THERE IS NOWHERE in Anderson for me to get my stick re-tipped I would have to drive to Greenville, leave my stick for days and then drive back and get it!! SCREW THAT Mr. Drunk person wanting to use MY CUE! Use the one with NO TIP on it or go complain to the manager!
